Durham St North will reopen tonight after work was completed faster than expected.

The one-way street will operate as a single lane past the Crowne Plaza site to the courthouse.

The planned reopening of Gloucester St will proceed tomorrow.

The cordon map on the www.cera.govt.nz website will be updated tomorrow once both changes are in place.
