Prime Minister John Key talks to Campbell Live from the official launch of the blueprint for Christchurch.

The plans include more green spaces, a smaller CBD, a new stadium, a convention centre, a height restriction, specialised precincts and more pedestrian areas.

Christchurch is New Zealand’s second largest city, so getting it right is quite a balancing act.

It must have office space, retail space, but also, as reflected in a striking number of the public submissions, it must have parks and green areas and a human scale.

John Key spoke to John Campbell about the new plans.
