Book release: Christchurch – Our Underground Story

Have you ever wondered what goes on beneath our feet? In this stunning lift-the-flap picture book, you and your little ones will explore Christchurch’s hidden city. Find out where our water comes from, where it goes when you flush the toilet, and everything in between!

As part of the SCIRT team local Chartered Civil Structural Engineer and first time author Phil Wilkins has created this labour of love to inspire those young enquiring minds about the world of engineering, although we are sure both young and old will learn something new.

By purchasing Christchurch – Our Underground Story you are giving the gift of togetherness to hundreds of Kiwi families who stay at Ronald McDonald House South Island every year.

Christchurch – Our Underground Story can be purchased here [1] for $20 per copy.

The book will be available for pick up from Saturday February 25, 2017 at the book launch, 11am to 3pm at the Margaret Mahy Playground. After this date please contact Ronald McDonald House South Island to arrange pickup or postage. For more information on the book launch visit the Facebook event page [2]
