  • Coopers Road will be open while this work takes place. A stop go system will be in place at the Bampton Street intersection and priority give way signage will be used along Coopers Road.
  • At times driveway access for residents will be restricted, but we will advise residents directly when this will occur.
  • Please contact us if you have any specific access requirements that we need to consider eg. Nurse Maude, Meals on Wheels or other planned works on your property.
  • This work will take place during the hours of 7am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
  • There will be a second stage of this work to be completed in the remaining portion of Coopers Road. A separate work notice will be distributed to residents about this final stage of work.
  • We may need to enter private properties in the affected work area to connect residents' laterals from their property boundary to the repaired gravity wastewater pipeline.
  • An access and restoration agreement has been distributed to affected residents that property owners must complete and sign. Without the affected owners consent we will be unable to carry out any work on your property to connect your wastewater line to the Council owned wastewater line. Please return the completed form to us by Monday 16 April 2012.. You can call us on free phone 0508 718 719 when the form is complete and we will arrange to collect it from you. Or you can post or email the form to us.
  • The work will result in some noise and dust if there are dry weather conditions.
  • The work will not impact on current power, telecommunications, sewer, water or gas services. However we may need to request residents to restrict their wastewater use for a short period while we are connecting their lateral to the wastewater main.
  • All works are subject to favourable weather and on-site construction conditions.
  • During the period of construction, we ask that you observe special cordons around construction areas for you and your family's safety.
  • For any other information about this work, please contact the MacDow Fletcher Infrastructure Rebuild Team between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday on free phone 0508 718 719. Any emergency calls made outside these hours will be diverted to a Site Engineer.
