||05 Jun 2012
||29 Jun 2012
We are replacing the gravity wastewater pipeline and connecting private laterals on Claydon Place in Dallington. Work will start on 5 June and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2012.
The red line indicates the area of construction.
The yellow line indicates where the road will be closed to non-residents and to residential
vehicles during construction hours.
How our work may impact you:
Claydon Place will be closed with resident only access for the duration of the works.
Road and driveway access will be restricted during construction hours. Residents will need to park on Gayhurst Road and walk in and out.
Please contact us if you have any specific access requirements that we need to consider e.g. Nurse Maude, Meals on Wheels or other planned works on your property.
Sections of the road will be dug out to reconnect the waste water laterals to the Council owned wastewater line.
The footpath will be closed during the lateral replacement works. Footpath access will be maintained on one side of the street in order to allow pedestrian access.
Please place your rubbish bins outside your homes by 5pm on Tuesdays. We will then move them to a suitable collection point.
Please ensure you have clearly labelled your rubbish bins to ensure they are returned to the right address.
Access to private property
We may need to enter private properties in the affected work area to connect resident’s laterals from their property boundary to the repaired gravity wastewater pipeline.
An access and restoration agreement has been sent to affected residents. We require property owners to complete and sign this agreement. Without the affected owners consent we will be unable to carry out any work on your property to connect the wastewater line to the Council wastewater line. Please return the completed form to us by Friday 1 June 2012. You can call us on free phone 0508 718 719 when the form is complete and we will arrange for it to be collected from you.
