On the flat some houses have lost chimneys and a few and cracked sewer pipes. Generally minor. Beachville Road has suffered worst with liquefaction bringing up silt and flooding gutters and driveways. Part of the road is closed due to holes and surface silt. Some cracks in the grass and asphalt along the estuary wall. There is slight damage to the ceiling tiles in the School Hall.
February 22nd
Many parts have been evacuated due to rock fall and cliff instability.There is still issues with roads in this area where the stability of cliffs and rocks are broken.
