Wainoni is one of the very badly damaged areas especially fron the February 22nd Earthquake. Wainoni Road was filled with liquefaction which affected transport in the area for days. Te Rama Place had two house high piles of silt in our cul-de-sac and still are without portaloos. The power was out for many many days and they still do not have running water in many parts almost 2 weeks after the quake.
